I love being a Purex Insider. I received 20 mule Team Borax in the mail to review. My mother used Borax when I was a kid, but I hadn't tried it as an adult.
If you are not familiar with20 Mule Team Borax, it is a 100% natural mineral that the 20 Mule Team removes from the earth and then washes, dries and boxes it up for consumers. It is a naturally occurring substance that is produced by the perpetual evaporation of the seasonal lakes. Nothing is added.
20 Mule Team Borax can be added to your regular (preferably Purex) detergent to naturally soften hard water (which is in 85% of our homes) and improve your detergent's cleaning power and help keep stains from being re-deposited back onto clothes. This is a big plus for anyone with kids! Kids stains are bad!! Today's stained shirt from my 4 year old has marker everywhere, haha. I just add 1/2 cup to my kids dirtiest clothes load to help them along.
20 Mule Team Borax is not just for laundry. Use it to clean stains, odor control and even arts and crafts. I used it to freshen our garbage disposal and clean the stainless steel sink and it worked wonderfully. You can visit the 20 Mule Team Borax page to get some cleaning tips and more information on how to remove stains.
20 Mule Team Borax and Purex Insiders wants to give 3 of my readers their own box of 20 Mule Team Borax to try for themselves and see how well it works in your home.
BE SURE TO LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS FOR EACH ENTRY SO I CAN CONTACT YOU IF YOU WIN!
Mandatory Entry - Go to the 20 Mule Team Laundry page and tell me what you are going to use your 20 Mule Team Borax for first. (Hint - Go to About and then to Other Uses to find out about all the great uses of 20 Mule Team Borax and I bet you will find some surprising uses)

I always use Borax in the laundry and it seems that I can put in in the dishwasher. I wonder if I can use it instead of that very expensive after product (that I won't name!) that I have been using to control hard water spots. It seems logical.
