I love this time of the year. Sure, I have lots to do and never feel like I have enough time to do it, but I still love this time of the year. I love finding the perfect gifts for people (and not paying retail to get them!!!). I love the decorations and how pretty everything looks. I am especially looking forward to seeing my 2 year old this Christmas morning. She was only 1 last year and she liked it, but I think she will get excited this year.
I moved to St Louis in 2004 when I married my wonderful husband. Most of my family and very good friends are still in Maryland, but I have made some new friends here and have met many wonderful people. I have been blogging since June and have come across some awesome local bloggers too: Cristi (The King's Court IV), Jeri (Coupon STL), Jennifer (Healthy Life Deals) and Angie (Short on Cents). Recently, we were all given the opportunity to work together and get to know each other. Now we would like to know more about you - our readers!
Jasmere is a company that links smaller businesses to a broad group of consumers to provide extremely great deals! Feel free to check out their website here and Facebook page here to see what they are up to! I have ordered from Jasmere and I have been extremely pleased at my deals and have recommended them to my friends and family. Jasmere also wants to celebrate the holidays STL-style by providing 1 lucky winner with a $25 gift certificate! You do not need to be in St Louis to win this giveaway. Jasmere is an online site that ships all over the United States.
Today's deal on Jasmere are these glass straws!!!! You can get a $50 voucher for only $23! And the price could go lower the more people who get in on the deal. (You could be getting this free if you win the giveaway!!!!!!!) Go here to check it out.
In staying true to our state nickname The "Show Me" State, we would like for our readers to "Show Us Your Holiday Spirit"!!
*NOTE: Each blog mentioned above will be participating in the blog event and each will provide 1 winner with a $25 gift certificate to Jasmere! And while you may enter at each blog to gain greater chances of winning, you can ONLY WIN ONCE!

PS: The date of this post says 'Jan 1', just letting you know. Thanks.
My family celebrates with each other on Christmas Eve by having a wonderful meal and exchanging gifts. This way, after Santa comes on Christmas morning, we can each celebrate with the families of our significant other.
My family starts really feeling like christmas when this time of the month, we start baking cookies for Journey to Bethlem. It's fun even 6 yr old boy enjoys it... Last year we were able to play roles in the Journey and see people's faces that was wonderful, this year we will just go everynight and see people eating out cookies
We go Christmas tree hunting!
We celebrate with family having a big dinner, opening gifts, and watching all the classic christmas movies

We bake lots of cookies and give some as gifts if we don't eat them all first. We listen to lots and lots of Christmas music. On Christmas Eve, we leave cookies and milk out for Santa, and enjoy a full day on Christmas of enjoying the new toys. Later on Christmas Day, we venture out to celebrate the holiday with family. Wonderful times!
The highlight of this year's Christmas for me is going to be being up front and personal with your precious Kara on Christmas morning. Today I am working on the Family Christmas Card. I subscribe to all of goodies.

To celebrate the holidays, we bake lots of goodies for ourselves and those we love, we ride around and take in the glow of neighboring Christmas lights and the entire extended family gets together at my Grandmother's house for good food, good company, and cool presents. Thanks for the chance!
