Sea-Band Reivew and Giveaway

adultchild

I didn't have to be asked twice to review Sea-Bands. I used these when I was pregnant. I had a terrible pregnancy. I was sick my entire 9 months! A friend of mine recommended Sea-Bands in my 4th month of pregancy (after I was supposed to be with my first trimester morning sickness, but I wasn't). I used them in the evenings for the rest of my pregnancy since evenings were my worst time.

Sea-Bands wristbands are approved by the FDA. They are a leading drug-free remedy for nausea caused by morning sickness (or all day sickness in my case), motion sickness, chemotherapy and post operative situations.

Most recently, a German Clinic specializing in migraine and headache therapy showed that Sea-Band wristbands significantly reduced nausea and vomitting in those who had suffered with migraines for more than 26 years: 83% noticed a perceptible reduction in nausea and 44% found their symptoms markedly reduced. This was great news for me. I suffer from migraines and I never thought to try these Sea-Bands for them! Now they are on my night stand just in case I get a migraine.

If you are interested in how Sea-Bands work, the healing principle behind Sea-Bands is the ancient Chinese art of acupressure. The stimulation on the P6 accupressure point on the inner wrist causes the nervous system to release chemicals that help trigger the body's natural healing abilities without all the side effects that anti-nausea medication can sometimes cause. Clnically tested, the Sea-Bands work within 5 minutes after being applied and can be used as long as needed.

I was also sent the Sea-Band anti-nausea Ginger Gum. It can also be used for nausea caused by travel, morning sickness, and chemotherapy. Each pack comes with 24 pieces and the serving size is 2 pieces. They contain Ginger oil and fresh ginger root. I tried a few pieces even thought I had no nausea just to see what they tasted like and if I could recommend them and they aren't bad! I have been chewing it the whole time I have been writing this post and I am still going so it's not terrible. Sure - there is better tasting gum out there, but if you are suffering from nausea and this gum can help, I bet it will taste great! I wish I would have known about this gum when I was pregnant!

If you have a friend who is having a terrible pregnancy like I was, pick her up the Sea-Bands and the Sea-Band gum since the last thing on her mind is running out to the store. That can also be said for anyone you know going thru chemotherapy. Just pick this up for them so they don't have to.
