Stopain Review and Giveaway

Stopain® Cold 4oz Spray Extra Strength

I recently received some Stopain Cold Extra Strength spray to review.

I had to wait a little bit until I got over a cold to try it. I waited until I was working out again because I knew that would make me sore after taking some time off. Sure enough, that was the case.

I tried the Stopain on my sore legs. It was easy to use. It comes in a spray bottle and you can spray it from any angle (good for those hard to reach places like your back). I was a little worried when I first sprayed it on because the scent was strong, but I am very sensitive to smells so that could be why I thought it was strong. The scent faded quick enough that I didn't notice it after about 10 minutes.
It goes on clear, in a fine mist that didn't drip or seem wet to the touch so I also didn't have to worry about waiting to put on pants after I put it on. I also liked that because it was a spray bottle and I didn't have to rub it in, my hands didn't get messy like some other products.
I like to know what is in the products that I and my family are using so I read the information that came with the bottle and it contains 8% menthol (oh how I love this scent when I have a cold) which is recognized by the FDA as an analgesic indicated for the temporary relief of minor aches and pains. It also contains peppermint oil to contribute to the pain relieving action of the menthol and helps relax muscles and Eucalyptus oils that helps improve blood flow (I will have to let my sister know this as she loves eucalyptus). 2 other ingredients listed are glucosamine and MSM which says that it is essential to support joint health and mobility. Use Stopain for temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with simple backaches, arthritis, strains, bruises and sprains.
It got nice and cold after application and my legs definitely felt better - kinda tingly and relaxed.

Stopain comes in the Extra Strength spray, regular strength spray, extra strength roll on and new gel.
Stopain is available at many retailers such as Walgreens (don't forget those register rewards!), Walmart, CVS and Rite-Aid. You can find a complete list on their website http://www.stopain.com/ .
