Back to School List

back to school

It's back to school time.

My youngest is starting kindergarten and I am working on her supply list. Since school starts here on August 8th, I need to get started. I hvae many of the items already from stocking up, but there are a few that I still need to find.

Here is the list:

Please write your child’s name on everything, except markers and pencils! It is even helpful when each crayon is at least initialed.

1 bottle Elmer’s Glue-All (4 oz.)
4 LARGE glue sticks
2 boxes of 24 Crayola crayons (one box initialed to keep and one box to share)
Box of sharpened pencils to share – yellow/non-recyclable/NO DESIGNS
Safety scissors (metal Fiskars are wonderful)
1 two-pocket folder
1 spiral notebook (8” x 10-1/2”)
1 composition notebook
1 set of Classic Washable Crayola Markers to share (fat ones)
Large eraser
Box of water colors (Prang or Crayola)
School box for supplies (9” long or smaller, flip top plastic, no zipper)
$5 party money (cash only)
Large box of tissues
Roll of paper towels
Expo low odor, dry erase markers to share
Paint shirt (folded in zip lock bag) – name on both shirt and zip lock bag. Please write your child’s name in large letters on the front and back of the shirt. An oversized t-shirt work well.
Lunchbox
Backpack (large enough to hold folder – no rolling backpacks)
Rest mat – red/blue vinyl mat folded in four (can be found at Wal-Mart (For storage purposes, this mat works the best.) (Name on both red and blue folded edge)
Wear tennis shoes for P.E.
Please – no individual pencil sharpeners!

I don't think it's too bad. What do you guys think?
